General Motors recalls over a million vehicles

It is being reported that about 1.5 million General Motors vehicles have been recalled due to potential fire hazards.

The following models are included in the recall:

1998-1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue;
1997-2003 Pontiac Grand Prix;
1997-2003 Buick Regal;
1998-2003 Chevrolet Lumina, Monte Carlo and Impala.

A fire in the engine may occur if drops of oil fall into the exhaust system. There have been no reports of any injuries or fires. The recall has been labeled precautionary.
