Crock Pot Brats

 

8 bratwursts

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 garlic cloves, chopped

1 onion, chopped

18 ounces beer (dark beer works well)

 

Heat oil and garlic in large skillet; add bratwursts and brown on each side. With a fork, poke holes in each bratwurst and cook for 5 more minutes.

Transfer brats to crock pot and add chopped onion; pour beer to cover.

Cook on low for 6—7 hours.
