Wreath-making in Dardenne Prairie

The St. Charles County Parks Department Horticulture staff is hosting a natural wreath-making class on Sat., November 8. Two sessions are offered, at 10 a.m. or 1 p.m. The class will be held indoors at the Youth Activity Park in Dardenne Prairie.

Participants will be able to create a seasonal wreath using items found in most backyards, such as: berries twigs, and leaves. Participants will be able to take their wreaths home at the end of the session. (Guests are asked to bring their own hand pruners and gloves)

Registration is $25 per person and advanced registration is required. Space is limited to the first 15 people to sign up for each class. A minimum of five participants is necessary to hold each class.

The Youth Activity Park is located at 7801 Highway N in Dardenne Prairie. From I-70, take Bryan Road south to Highway N (approx. three miles). Turn right on Highway N to the park entrance (about ½ mile) on right.

From Highway 40/61, go north on WingHaven Boulevard to Highway N (about one mile). Turn left on Highway N to the park entrance (about ½ mile) on right.
