Learn to draw and paint trees

Do you love to draw or paint scenes of the outdoors? If so, the St. Peters Community & Arts Center has a class to assist you in creating artwork of those beautiful landscapes. Artist/Instructor Jerry Thomas will teach aspiring landscape artists the proper techniques and necessary tools to draw and paint trees.
Participants will learn how to create the forms, shapes, colors, textures, character and anatomy of trees. This is a vital class for all artists interested in drawing and painting landscapes.
The class will meet at the St. Peters Community & Arts Center, 1035 St. Peters-Howell Road in St. Peters, on Wednesdays Oct. 6 – 27 from 9 a.m. to noon. The fee for the four-week class is $104 and includes the cost of an instruction manual.
