Learning to “throw clay” at the Community & Arts Center

On April 29, the St. Peters’ Community & Arts Center sculpture/pottery class begins. The sessions run for six-weeks and are open to beginners as well as experienced artists. Learn how to work with clay using hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques. Create, glaze and fire handmade pots, vessels and sculptures.
The class will meet on Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Community & Arts Center located at 1035 St. Peters-Howell Road. Cost: $120 for St. Peters residents; $130 for non-residents. Ages 16 and up are welcome to sign up, and kids (ages 10-15) may participate if they are attending with a parent who is also registered for the class. To register, call 636-939-2FUN.
