St. Charles County Symphony to perform at Foundry

The St. Charles County Symphony will perform two holiday concerts at the Foundry Art Centre, 520 North Main Center in St. Charles. The concerts are on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 8 p.m. and on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 3 p.m.
The St. Charles County Symphony is a non-profit organization with an all-volunteer orchestra comprised of area music teachers, professional musicians, interested adults and talented students. The annual Holiday Concert includes secular and non-secular music of the season and always has a special musical delight for the young or the young-at-heart.
Tickets are $20 each with tables of 10 available for $200. Children under 12 are free. To make reservations, call the Foundry Art Centre at 636-255-0270.
The Foundry Art Centre is a fine arts gallery overlooking the Missouri River at 520 North Main Center, in the Frenchtown district of Historic St. Charles. The Foundry features a Smithsonian-caliber art gallery hosting national juried exhibitions plus 20 working artist studios where visitors can watch the creative process and buy art directly from the artists. The not-for-profit art centre also provides community meeting rooms, event space and a children’s art gallery. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. Admission is free, and donations are welcome.
