The domra, the bajan and the double-bass balalaika are all instruments used by the Russian folk group, Trio Voronezh. The trio will appear at 3:00 p.m. on January 24 at the Trinity Episcopal Church as part of the Crescendo Concert Series.

Formed in 1993, Trio Voronezh has gained quite a U.S. following. The group has performed on Garrison Keillor’s A Prairie Home Companion on public radio, the Oregon Bach Festival as well as many other American venues.

Single ticket prices for the January 24 concert are as follows: $15/adult; $12/in advance; $5 student.
