Riverside Shakespeare Theatre Co. presents Taming of the Shrew

Four showings remain for Riverside Shakespeare Theatre Co.’s performance of Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew.
Produced by Christopher Ferguson and Matthew Bruce and under the direction of Jonathan Elkins, this version is set in a West-Coast college campus during the late 1960’s. The time period provides an interesting backdrop of social upheaval and political unrest.
Admission is free and audience members are encouraged to bring a blanket and a picnic meal to this family-friendly event.

The stage will be set at the south end of Frontier Park in St. Charles.

June 22 at 2:30 p.m.
June 27 at 7:30 p.m.—come early to see the Sundown Show beginning at 6:30 p.m.
June 28 at 7:30 p.m.—come early to see the Sundown Show beginning at 6:30 p.m.
June 29 at 2:30 p.m.
Riverside Shakespeare Theatre Co. is a non-profit theater group dedicated to providing free performances in St. Charles County.
Funding for this year’s performance is provided by the City of St. Charles Arts and Culture Commission and contributions from benefactors and businesses.
Riverside Shakespeare Theatre Co. works closely with the St. Charles Arts Council.
