Accident claims life of Dardenne Prairie woman

On Saturday, at about 6:25 p.m. Daniel L. Weidinger, 41, of Dardenne Prairie was driving a 2001 Ford F250 eastbound on Highway 94, about 100 feet west of Church Street when the vehicle traveled off the road. Weidinger overcorrected and an accident occurred resulting in the death of his passenger, Angela K. Weidinger, 37, of Dardenne Prairie.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report:
The vehicle was traveling eastbound on Highway 94 and drove off the right side of the roadway. The driver overcorrected to the left and the vehicle went off of the left side of the roadway. The front of the vehicle struck an embankment.
The vehicle then spun counter-clockwise and the left rear of the vehicle struck the embankment. The vehicle spun counter-clockwise again and came to rest facing northeast. During this time, the passenger of the vehicle was ejected. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Daniel Weidinger was taken with minor injuries to St. Joseph West Hospital by St. Charles County Ambulance.
Daniel Weidinger was wearing a seat belt. Angela Weidinger was not.
