Bikers for Babies Ride 2008

The March of Dimes Bikers for Babies Ride passed through St. Charles County last Sunday. And what a gorgeous day they had for this 62-mile bike ride!
The event is in its 13th year in St. Louis. In addition to the big ride, folks enjoyed a car and bike show, more than 60 vendor booths, concerts and a silent auction. There was so much planned, festivities began the day before, on Saturday. About 7,000 people attended the affair.
The Bikers for Babies Ride benefits the March of Dimes. Riders are sponsored by friends, family and associates. This year’s event raised approximately $300,000.
“The goal of the March of Dimes is to give every baby a healthy start,” said Richard Buckley of the organization.
