Friday accidents busy authorities in Lake Saint Louis

A Friday afternoon accident injured a 41-year-old woman from Americus, GA.
At about 3:55 p.m., Margaret D. Clark, 41, of Americus, GA, was driving a 2006 Ford Ranger westbound on Highway 40, east of Dauphine in Lake Saint Louis. Clark was stopped in traffic.
Heading in the same direction and also stopped in traffic was Heather R. Mayberry, 21, of Lake Saint Louis. Mayberry was driving a 2002 Ford Focus.
Alex K. Koenig, 24, of Defiance, approached the stopped traffic from behind in a 1992 Jeep Wrangler, but failed to stop in time.
The Wrangler struck the back of the Ranger. The impact caused the Ranger to strike the rear of the Ford Focus.
Clark sustained minor injuries and was taken to St. Joseph West Hospital by St. Charles County Ambulance.
All three drivers were wearing seat belts.

On Friday, at about 6:20 p.m., this car flipped on Highway N near Glen Brook Manor Drive. The driver was removed from the car and taken by St. Charles County Ambulance to the hospital.
