Lake Saint Louis man gets prison sentence

Lake Saint Louis resident, Stephen A. Belosi, 23, was sentenced to a year in prison on Friday. Belosi was at the wheel during a fatal motor vehicle accident which his passenger did not survive.
On May 19, 2007, Belosi was driving a Corvette eastbound on Highway DD near Sommers Road. Belosi entered oncoming traffic as he attempted to pass four stopped vehicles to make a left turn.
Jennifer A. Edgar, 21, of O’Fallon was thrown from the Corvette as it collided with an oncoming pickup truck. Edgar was fatally injured.
Belosi, of the Moorings subdivision, had pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter.
