Car plunges toward Lake Saint Louis residence

Around 8:00 p.m. tonight, a driver traveling on Fox Trail Drive failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Fox Trail Drive and Lake Saint Louis Boulevard. The car landed in the back yard of a residence on South Lakeridge Court. Witnesses told sccworlds.com the female driver impacted an air conditioning unit before hitting a tree and coming to a stop uncomfortably close to the home. The driver was taken to the hospital.
This is the third time this has happened at this location. A guard rail is being considered to protect residences from wayward traffic.
