Driver flees scene after accident in Lake Saint Louis

At about 11:45 p.m. Saturday night, a two-car accident occurred between a white Crown Victoria and red Chevrolet at the intersection of Ronald Reagan Drive and Hawk Ridge Trail in Lake Saint Louis.
The driver of one of the cars fled the scene through the lot between Wal-Mart and Lowe’s, the Sports Authority construction site. Police were able to catch him.
A female involved in the accident was transported by ambulance to the hospital. A witness at the scene told sccworlds.com that police were checking to see if one of the cars was stolen.
