Catch and Release Family Fishing Day

The City of O’Fallon will host a catch and release family fishing day on Sun. June 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Lake Whetzel in Fort Zumwalt Park.
The lake will be freshly stocked, and participants only need to bring rods, reels and lures.
Activities include a casting contest, reel race and worm race. Tours of the historic Heald Home will be available and a display of the Route 66 Corvette Club will be at the event, as well.
