The children are primed to have the most fun this New Year’s Eve.

O’Fallon and St. Peters are offering New Year’s Eve Lock-Ins for kids ready to party down.
Parents can boogie into 2009, knowing their kids are having a blast, too.

St. Peters Rec Plex:

Time: From Dec. 31, 2008 at 7 p.m. to Jan. 1, 2009 at 7 a.m.

Children aged 8 to 13 years are invited to have the time of their lives swimming, ice skating and other way cool activities. The cost is $45 per person for St. Peters residents and Rec-Plex passholders. For the general public, the price is $55 per person. The food court will be open during the evening, offering items for purchase.

The Rec Plex staff assures parents that kids will celebrate in a safe and enjoyable environment.

Note: Please register in advance. Late registrations will be accepted on Dec. 31 until 1 p.m. (if space is available) and will be subject to a late charge of $15 per child. No registrations will be taken at the door. An emergency contact/parental authorization form must be completed and submitted at check in.

Renaud Spirit Center:

Time: From Dec. 31, 2008 at 8 p.m. to Jan. 1, 2009 at 7 a.m.

This O’Fallon venue is offering swimming, snacks, fun games and other activities for kids aged 5 to 12 years. There will be concessions available for purchase throughout the evening.

This event is available as either a partial night (8 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.) or an all-night lock in (8 p.m. to 7 a.m.). All-night revelers will receive donuts and juice in the morning.

Registration is limited to the first 100 children. Registration must be done in person and an $8 late fee will be charged for registration after 5 p.m. on Dec. 19. There is a $15 late fee for children not picked up on time.

All night rates: $47/$52
Partial night rates: $39/$44
