O’Fallon
According to the O’Fallon Police Department, on Thursday, September 11, at about 4:45 p.m. a call was received by police about a robbery that occurred in the 100 block of Fallon Villas Court.
The two suspects, Nathan Myers, 18, of O’Fallon, and Jeremy Shell, 17, of O’Fallon planned the robbery on September 10.
Shell lured the victims into a car in order to rob them of cash and valuables. The victims thought they were going to a concert. Myers waited in a nearby wooded area.
Shell told the victims he needed to buy marijuana and called Myers on the cell phone.
Myers came out of the woods and got into the back seat of the vehicle with the intended victims. Myers displayed a handgun from his waist band and demanded money from Shell, who was sitting in the front seat.
Shell threw his wallet to his co-conspirator and then ran. Myers then turned the gun on the intended victims, threatening to kill them if they did not give him their money.
Both victims expressed fear about the gun and managed to run before any money was given to Myers. The vehicle left the area.
Both subjects received warrants through St. Charles Prosecutor’s Office for Robbery 2nd with five hundred thousand dollar bonds, with no ten percent authorized.
