The St. Charles County Arts Council invites the public to the grand opening of their new home at 7443 Village Center Drive in WingHaven (near the library) on Saturday, October 4, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The council’s previous location was in the Non Profit Center building in St. Peters. An upcoming move would have been necessary for the arts council anyway, because of the St. Charles City-County Library’s plan to demolish the Non Profit Center, as well as the Spencer Road Library, to make room for a larger library and offices in that location.

The Arts Council worked closely with Carl Sandstedt, Director of the Library District and is pleased that the new location will have three times the space of the previous one. The extra room will provide many opportunities for exhibitions and programs.

So, stop by on October 4 to extend a warm welcome and best wishes on the St. Charles County Art Council’s new home.
