Progress West Health Care Center searched

On Apr. 14, 2008, at approximately 4:45 a.m., the St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department contacted the O’Fallon Police Department in reference to an unspecified threat called into their department. The location of the threat was at Progress West Health Care Center, located at 2 Progress Point.
The O’Fallon Police Department responded. The hospital was searched and nothing suspicious was located. During the search none of the patients were evacuated. Employees were allowed to enter with proper identification, and the surgeries were postponed until the search was complete.
The O’Fallon Police Department is currently investigating this incident. No arrests have been made.
