On Highway 67 at the Lewis Bridge Wednesday afternoon, Karen Morrow, 52, of St. Louis, was traveling southbound in a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the road.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Morrow overcorrected and made her way back onto the roadway. The vehicle began sliding, struck a guard rail and became airborne before overturning. It came to rest in a ditch.

Morrow sustained moderate injuries and was airlifted to Barnes Jewish Hospital by Arch Rescue. She was wearing a seat belt. The vehicle was totaled.
