Motor vehicle accident on Highway D--Update

St. Charles
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol:
Nicole Richards, 16, of Michigan, was driving a 1981 Ford E-350 westbound on Route D, one mile west of Highway 94 Sat. evening at 6:13 when the vehicle ran off the right side of the road. Richards overcorrected, drove off the left side of the roadway and then struck a tree.
Nicole Richards was transported with serious injuries to St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur by Arch Helicopter.
Vaughn Agular, 17, of Gaylord Michigan, was an occupant in the vehicle. Agular was transported with serious injuries to St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur by Arch Helicopter.
Ronnie Richards, a male of unknown age from St. Charles, was also a passenger. Ronnie Richards received serious injuries and was transported to St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur by Arch Helicopter.
Hayden R. Grabner, 9, from St. Charles, another occupant, sustained moderate injuries, and was taken to St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur by St. Charles County EMS.
Max Richards, a male of unknown age from St. Charles, was another occupant in the vehicle. Max Richards was transported with moderate injuries to St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur by St. Charles County EMS.
None of the above victims were wearing seatbelts.

St. Charles
A motor vehicle accident occurred Sat. at approximately 6:15 p.m. on Highway D about a mile west of Highway 94 in St. Charles. Some victims were reported as ejected from the vehicle. Some of those ejected may have been children. Multiple injuries were reported.
Emergency crews set up at the Francis Howell High School parking lot on Highway 94. Life Net helicopter rescue was on the scene.
As of 7:20 p.m., traffic on Highways D and 94 was still being diverted.
