Motorcycle accident seriously injures 18 year-old

Florissant resident, Charles E. Morris, 18, was seriously injured on Red School House Road in West Alton Tues. at about 9:50 p.m. when he was ejected from the 2002 Kawasaki Motorcycle he was riding.
According to Missouri State Highway reports, Morris was traveling at an excessive rate of speed, failed to negotiate a curve to the right and drove off the left side of the roadway. The motorcycle struck a utility pole guy wire and Morris was ejected.
Morris was seriously injured and taken to St. Louis University Hospital by Arch Helicopter Ambulance Service.
