Water rescue on Dalbow Road

Tuesday evening, O’Fallon Fire Department, St. Charles County Sheriff and Paramedics responded to a water rescue on Dalbow Road at Firma Road in O’Fallon.
According to the O’Fallon Fire Department, a 56-year-old man attempted to forge a flooded area to check on his clubhouse. The area is a known flood plain.
The man misjudged the roadway and drove into a ditch. After getting out of the vehicle, his legs gave out. Because of the water, he was forced to lie down.
Rescue crews reached the scene by A.T.V. and paramedics successfully treated the man.
