Car overturns during morning rush on Highway 40

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday, Gabriel V. Foehner, 23, of St. Charles was traveling eastbound on Highway 40, west of the Daniel Boone Bridge. Reports state Foehner was driving erratically before he lost control of a 1996 Acura and struck the rear of a 1999 Chrysler driven by Kim Hutton, 47, of St. Charles. Foehner then drove off the roadway. His vehicle overturned several times.
Foehner sustained moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in Creve Coeur. Hutton was not injured.
