Terry Road near Augusta to close for construction

Terry Road in south St. Charles County will be closed from 8 a.m. until about 2:30 p.m. on Monday as a culvert pipe is installed. The construction area is located 0.15 miles south of Highway 94 and 3 miles north of Duke Road.
Terry Road will remain open on either side of the closure area, but no through traffic will be allowed in the construction area. Motorists can use Duke Road to Matson Hill Road to Highway 94 or Highway 94 to Schluersburg Road to bypass the closure area. Signs will be posted for the closure and the detour route.
The road project is part of a continuing effort by St. Charles County Government to improve the county’s road system for the safety of the traveling public.
