Tractor trailer and S-10 cross paths

On Tuesday, Feb. 9 at about 5:38 a.m., Tony Blackmon, 50, of Florissant, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet S-10 westbound on Route 370, just east of Spencer Road.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Blackmon lost control of the vehicle and traveled into the path of a 1997 Mack Tractor Trailer, driven by Joseph W. Chappie, 33.

Blackmon suffered minor injuries and was taken to St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles by St. Charles County Ambulance.

Both drivers were wearing seatbelts during the accident.
