Overturned vehicle catches fire

On July 28 at about 10:30 p.m., Janice M. Lucas, 58, of Wentzville, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet HHR northbound on Route Z, one mile south of Route N.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Lucas accelerated into a curve, lost control of the vehicle which traveled off the left side of the roadway. The vehicle overturned and caught fire.
Lucas sustained minor injuries and was taken to St. Joseph Medical Center West by St. Charles County Ambulance.
She was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
