Wentzville, MO
Dr. Terry Adams, Superintendent of the Wentzville R-IV School District, is serving as the Greater St. Louis representative on the Program Committee for the Missouri Association of School Administrators (MASA) during the 2008-09 school year. Adams was selected by his colleagues in the St. Louis area to serve in this leadership position.
MASA is a strong advocate for public education in Missouri. The organization lobbies intensely for additional education funds at the state Capitol. MASA also provides critical information to its membership regarding the status of legislation and other issues of interest to school administrators.
The organization coordinates a mentoring program for new superintendents, employs a staff attorney to provide legal counsel to school administrators, and offers conferences and workshops to provide administrators with the information they need to be effective leaders in their districts.
