Train overpass repairs planned

The Norfolk and Southern overpass at Old Business Highway 61 in Wentzville will undergo repairs beginning Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009.
Traffic will be restricted to one lane prior to the repairs due to bridge inspections; but once work begins on Tuesday, the entire roadway at the overpass will be closed to traffic.
Drivers are to be aware that the tentative detour is: Pearce Boulevard to Linn Avenue to Pitman Avenue.
The city’s website states the roadway will be closed until that Friday.
