Wentzville School District personnel changes

At its Jan. 17 meeting, the Wentzville Board of Education decided to hire a new Chief Financial Officer and a new Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources. The school board also announced the retirement of the current Coordinator School/Community Relations.
Beginning July 1, the new Chief Financial Officer will be Kari Moncees. Currently, the Assistant Superintendent for Finance in the Warrensburg School District, Moncees completed his Bachelors, Master and Education Specialist degrees at UCM. He will complete his dissertation in 2008. Moncees has been with the Warrensburg School District for five years. He has also held positions as a building administrator, an assistant principal and a math and computer science teacher.
Also beginning July 1, Susan Hladky will become the Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources. Hladky is currently the Director of Human Resources for the Rockwood School District. From 1987 to 2000, Hladky was with the Wentzville School District as a special education teacher, assistant principal and a principal at Green Tree Elementary.
It was also announced that Norma Sudbrock, Coordinator School/Community Relations, will be retiring. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Terry Adams wrote, “Norma has been with the Wentzville School District for 32 years and has done an outstanding job as the spokesperson of the District. She will be greatly missed.”
The next Wentzville School Board meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. Feb. 21 at Central Office on Campus Drive in Wentzville.
